Text description provided by the architects. This development takes its inspiration from the indented nature of the building and the zigzag lines drawn throughout the different renovated sections. The lines and facets theme is continued on the floor, the walls, in ceilings and in the furnishings, thus creating a thread of continuity throughout the project. The furnishings, entirely in Corian®, consist of fragmented structures which extend into the floor with the use of resin surfaces.
With Corian it is possible to implement monolithic furnishings without assembly joints, harmonising with the floor resin or the wall paint.
The visual and physical links between the areas of the building are strengthened by the common floor covering.
Light oak parquet is continuously laid from the restaurant to the hall, the cafeteria, and as far as the refurbished outside terrace.
The faceted ceilings consist of sound-absorbant panels to cover the air conditioning technical equipment, while echoing the design of the furnishings.
These facets continue in the meeting rooms in the form of a decorative wall panel integrating the built-in projection screens and audiovisual equipment.
